The Co-Directors: About us

head-shotBOX Revolution was created in 2014 by actors Sarah-Beth Brown and Tom Moriarty, with the aim to create new and exciting theatre that is based soley on new writing and casting that is completely gender neutral.

Tom’s experience in performing began with his time as a professional magician, back in Ireland. He worked for some of Ireland’s most notable clubs, entertaining the crowds and working his way to an appearance on Irish National Television.

Following this he joined the band Enemy Armada,  in his hometown of Tralee, again appearing on National Television before making the decisions to fully commit to a career in acting.

In the intervening years, he has been steadily working his way up through the ranks in the profession (notably in Delirium’s Stitching **** Scotsman, Belongings and Broken Bird’s Closer). When not working professionally, he holds the position of Assistant Studio Director at Acting Coach Scotland, training, coaching  and working under the tutelage of Mark Westbrook, one of the UK’s best known acting coaches.

Tom is represented by Douglas Stiven of Stiven Christie Management, Edinburgh.

Sarah-Beth Brown Sarah began her career as a professional singer, working with some of the UK’s best producers and touring extensively throughout Scotland, England and Europe with her band.
